JASPER - Wildlife and Hiking day

This is a unique Jasper experience where you'll search the park for some of our amazing and characteristic fauna. Then you'll get your feet dirty and head out for a hike on one of our amazing trails stopping for a picnic lunch along the way.

You will have the chance to see Black & Grizzly Bears, elk, deer, sheep and plenty of birds and smaller Canadian critters. Hike and wildlife search locations are dependent on seasons, weather and guide and we recommend going in the spring to increase your chances of wildlife sightings. Hikes do involve some elevation gain and loss, uneven trails and possible inclement weather. We try to pick hikes that suit our guests and are off the beaten track as we look for wildlife and their signs on the trail.

Make sure to bring a camera, small backpack and appropriate clothing and footwear for the hike.
